Electrical Inspector

Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Electrical Inspector to join our team based in Dubai, UAE.

We envisage success in this role to include;

• Attend to Inspection Requests (IRs) and take appropriate action promptly in timely manner.
• Assist the Electrical Engineer in performing the site related duties.
• Review shop drawings and ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, local codes, statutory requirements.
• Report any works not carried out in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor the quality of works and assess site safety, including health and environmental aspects.
• Maintain accurate daily site records, including progress photos, and ensure availability for inspection when required.
• Prepare surveillance and non-conformance reports (NCRs) as necessary to document site deficiencies.
• Ensure effective coordination between electrical works and other related disciplines.
• Conduct snagging and de-snagging inspections and ensure works are completed to the required quality standards.
• Inspect and verify testing and commissioning of MEP equipment and systems to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with the team to ensure successful project handover.
