Job Description

Job Summary:
The Emiratization Officer is responsible for developing and executing strategies to attract, hire, develop, and retain UAE Nationals in alignment with the organisation’s Emiratization goals and UAE labour laws. This role ensures compliance with Emiratization mandates while maintaining an inclusive environment that supports the professional growth of Emirati employees.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and implementation of Emiratization recruitment strategies to attract UAE Nationals across various departments.
  • Coordinate with universities, government entities, and career fairs to source and engage Emirati talent.
  • Facilitate onboarding programs to ensure the smooth integration of UAE Nationals into the workforce.
  • Manage the hiring process for new positions and replacements within agreed timelines.
  • Maintain and update the Emiratization report, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of Emirati candidates for future hiring needs.
  • Support in organizing Career Fairs
  • Post job vacancies on platforms such as LinkedIn, Zoho, Nafis, Zayed University, and AUS, while managing social media outreach.
  • Source and screen CVs, arrange interviews, and coordinate with hiring managers and business unit coordinators.
  • Ensure compliance with Emiratization regulations by updating and managing the Nafis platform and liaising with government entities.
  • Collect and verify candidate documents as per the checklist, negotiate salaries, and prepare offer letters.
  • Ensure all necessary documents are valid and compliant with regulatory and company requirements.
  • Oversee onboarding processes, including IT asset requests and induction coordination, to ensure a seamless transition for new Emirati employees.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including universities, government bodies, and industry partners.
  • Address challenges related to Emiratization and work closely with HR and department heads to enhance retention and engagement of UAE Nationals.
  • Monitor Emiratization KPIs and provide management with regular updates and recommendations for improvement.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the organization and government authorities to ensure compliance with Emiratization policies and regulations.
  • Promote an inclusive workplace culture that encourages the professional development and career success of UAE Nationals.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Emiratization, HR, or recruitment.
  • Strong understanding of UAE labour laws, Emiratization initiatives, and government platforms (NAFIS, Tawteen, MOHRE).
  • Preferable Arabic Speaking
Skills:
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, Negotiating, and analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
