AI Scrum Master

Synopsis

As an AI Scrum Master within our airline’s Innovation Lab, you will facilitate the Agile development process for AI projects, ensuring efficient collaboration and delivery. You will work closely with the AI team and stakeholders to remove obstacles, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and drive successful project outcomes. This role requires strong facilitation, communication, and leadership skills

Accountabilities

Maintain the scrum team capacity plan, scrum board, sprint backlog, velocity charts and burn down charts.Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Remove impediments and obstacles that hinder the progress of AI projects, escalating issues as needed. Coach and mentor the AI team on Agile principles, practices, and methodologies. Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability within the AI team. Manage risks and issues proactively, including resources, costs, and systems, and recommend appropriate solutions Ensure teams achieve their objectives keeping the team focused on their goals Responsible for coordination between teams (DevOps, Architects and other Scrum Masters) and assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency and collaboration Guide and coach scrum teams to follow Agile/Scrum principles and practices and reinforcing SAFe framework Ensure scrum teams are using best practice agile delivery tools and templates for all processes including documenting and tracking user stories Report on the status of delivery using agreed reporting metrics e.g. burndown

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

3+ years’ experience working as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach, preferably in AI or data science projects.

Strong understanding of Agile principles, practices, and methodologies.

Excellent facilitation, communication, and leadership skills.

Certification in Scrum Master CSM or SAFe is mandatory.
