Responsibilities:

Financial Management

  • Monthly review of staff cost for assigned portfolio and ensure business heads are well informed of their staff cost month on month and decide on action plan if the costs are exceeding budgets.

Performance Management

  • Work closely with business heads to develop consistent and standardized Objectives and KPI’s that are aligned with the overall bank’s objectives.
  • Guide the business on the efficient implementation of the performance management cycle and ensure a fair and consistent approach is adopted within the assigned portfolio .
  • Work with the business heads for assigned portfolios on their promotion recommendations, ensuring that the eligibility criteria are clear to the business heads, review the recommendation lists and ensure they are in line with the bank’s career progression strategy to avoid inflating current roles.

Organizational effectiveness

  • Review and analyze any Organization structure changes / operating models to ensure efficiency and effectiveness and alignment with the bank’s job architecture strategy.
  • Obtain necessary approvals for structural changes as per DOA
  • Ensure a clear communication is rolled out for all relevant stakeholders who are part of a structure change
  • Work closely with the HR engagement team to develop and roll out engagement action plans to based on the employee surveys.

Employee Relations

  • Analyze the root cause of ER issues and recommend changes that will address eliminate the problem for future cases.
  • Support Line Managers and the Employee relations team in resolving issues across the functions.
  • Support line managers in creating a culture of employee engagement based upon CBD values.

Change Management

  • Communicate any changes on HR policies to employees across the bank to ensure full understanding and adherence.
  • Act as an advisor to employees on any queries providing a consistent message across the board.
  • Champion a positive workplace culture and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Prepare and present HR reports to the executive team, summarizing trends, challenges, and opportunities.

HR Governance

  • Collaborate with other HR functions (compensation and benefits, learning and development, employee relations and TA) on areas of improvement to deliver comprehensive HR services.
  • Support and Educate Business heads on how to effectively use current / new HR systems.
  • Strict adherence to HR policies, procedures, and DOA matrix.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; specific HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Good standard of written and spoken English. Arabic language skills required
  • Fair knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Minimum of 2 years of HR experience,
  • Familiar with local labour laws is an advantage
  • FS experience is preferred
