MEP Quantity Surveyor Jobs in Dubai, UAE
Position Summary:
Providing all types of contractual assistance to project managers in terms of identifying potential variations and issuing notices for variations and EOT claims, preparing valuation of variations, submission and finalizing with consultant/client.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Closely coordinate with site management to have post contract and timely issuance of notification to the concerned department for their amendments.
- To make sure all the claims notifications are provided within the time frame as stipulated in the conditions of contract clauses.
- Regular updates from the site quantity surveyors with interim payment, variations and claims,
- Keeping the contract documents with the main office in soft scanned copies in order to maintain an improved filing system for current and future purpose.
- Preparation of variations claims including taking off quantities, pricing, etc.
- Able to identify delays & disruption of the project and subsequent preparation of claims for delays, acceleration, extension of time and associated costs.
- Having good contractual knowledge especially FIDIC.
- Gather project cost data and estimate/update the CTC (cost to complete).
- Regularly updating the project cash flow status and reporting it to the management.
- Provide and prepare all backup documentation required for substantiations of claims/invoices.
- Prepare monthly progressive claims and follow-up for timely payments.
- Review and evaluate suppliers/subcontractors’ progress claims, variations and any other claims.
- Preparation and negotiation of project final account.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveyor/Mechanical/Electrical
- 8+ Years of relevant work experience
- Experience in EOT claims.
