MRO Supervisor Jobs in Abu Dhabi, UAE
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary interface between site management (Customer), Operations,, and workshop managers, ensuring seamless communication and problem resolution.
- Oversee daily workflow within the assigned workshop, prioritizing tasks and ensuring efficient operations.
- Enforce strict compliance with all workshop directives, policies, and quality standards.
- Monitor and analyze all transactions and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and ensure targets are met or exceeded.
- Generate comprehensive weekly reports detailing workshop activities, compliance levels, and any identified quality issues.
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of needed spare parts to workshops and maintain up-to-date SAP data entry for all transactions.
- Coordinate bi-weekly reconciliations with the customer service department to resolve discrepancies and ensure data integrity within workshops.
- Analyze material supply trends to proactively identify and address potential issues that could lead to stoppages or quality concerns.
- Assist in inventory management, ensuring prompt investigation and resolution of any discrepancies.
- Guarantee the accuracy of timesheets for all employees working in assigned workshops .
- Manage employees leave and vacation schedules to maintain continuous and efficient workshop operations.
- Monitor and order necessary workshop equipment, office supplies, and ensure all IT and safety needs are met.
- Uphold rigorous security protocols and maintain a high awareness of workplace vulnerability within the workshop.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives by generating innovative ideas to enhance departmental policies, procedures, and overall quality.
- Collaborate with the Warehouse Operations and Distribution Manager to resolve internal compliance and quality issues.
- Ensure meticulous document control, including accurate filing and administrative tasks, to support quality assurance.
- Maintain exceptional housekeeping standards as directed, contributing to a safe and efficient work environment.
Experience & Education
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required, in Mechanical & Electrical is preferred.
- Previous military and/or automotive experience is preferred.
- Strong understanding and ability to perform Mechanical & electrical works,
- Proficient in interpreting Technical manuals
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office software and ERP systems.
- The ability to communicate effectively in English and Arabic, both in writing and verbally is required.
