Network Control Analyst

Position Overview:

The Network Control Analyst plays a key role in supporting the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of Etihad Rail’s network. The analyst will work within the National Operations Control Centre (NOCC), supporting the Duty Manager, maintaining operational awareness, and ensuring timely reporting of any issues or disruptions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Monitor and track real-time train movements and network performance using control systems.
• Support the Duty Manager in daily operations by providing situational updates, performance insights, and operational reporting.
• Track and analyze network performance, identifying delays, incidents, or anomalies, and ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Prepare and maintain operational reports and dashboards that reflect key performance indicators (KPIs), including punctuality, incident frequency, and delay causes..
• Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders during disruptions or network maintenance activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proficiency in data analysis, reporting tools (Excel, Power BI), and operational systems.
• Strong communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, with a structured and analytical approach to problem-solving and incident review.
• This role may involve shift work requirements.
