School Cashier Jobs in Dubai, UAE
Key Accountabilities:
- Receive and receipt school tuition / fee payments and to accurately report this information
- Disbursement of petty cash including reconciliation and balance of petty cash
- Prepare banking deposits as required
- Keep records of fee concessions and all related records pertaining to other school income
- Support with any other day to day operational requirements within accounts team
- Ensure that GEMS policies, procedures and code of conduct are followed at all times
Skills
Person specifications:
- High school certificate with a certificate in accounting though a bachelor’s in accounting or finance is preferred
- Demonstrable computer data entry skills including report summaries
- Possess at least 1 year of accounting experience
- Have a willingness to collaborate and share their outstanding practice
- Have a growth mindset, whereby they are reflective, and solution focused
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills to work closely with colleagues, students and parents
- Have aspiration to work in a world-class school with real prospects for enhancing their career
- Be willing to make a positive contribution to our school community and culture.
