School Cashier Jobs in Dubai, UAE

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Receive and receipt school tuition / fee payments and to accurately report this information
  • Disbursement of petty cash including reconciliation and balance of petty cash
  • Prepare banking deposits as required
  • Keep records of fee concessions and all related records pertaining to other school income
  • Support with any other day to day operational requirements within accounts team
  • Ensure that GEMS policies, procedures and code of conduct are followed at all times

 

Skills

 

Person specifications:

  • High school certificate with a certificate in accounting though a bachelor’s in accounting or finance is preferred
  • Demonstrable computer data entry skills including report summaries
  • Possess at least 1 year of accounting experience
  • Have a willingness to collaborate and share their outstanding practice
  • Have a growth mindset, whereby they are reflective, and solution focused
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills to work closely with colleagues, students and parents
  • Have aspiration to work in a world-class school with real prospects for enhancing their career
  • Be willing to make a positive contribution to our school community and culture.
