Key Accountabilities
Entry Point Security Guard Duties:
- Verify identification, track personnel compliance, and monitor access points.
- Ensure visitor induction requirements are met and manage visitor passes
- Act as a deterrent to unauthorized activities and report suspicious behavior
Security Patrol Guard Duties:
- Conduct periodic patrols to detect signs of intrusion or security breaches.
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Check perimeter fencing and secure buildings per client protocols
- Respect and support client-specific culture, values, and traditions
Specific Requirements
- Active Australian Baseline security clearance or higher issued by AGSVA, or eligibility for sponsorship.
- Fluent English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Valid Certificate II in Security Operations and applicable security license from an Australian State/Territory
- Ability to follow instructions, respond effectively in emergencies, and manage multiple tasks
Security License Functions:
- Crowd Controller
- Security Officer (Unarmed
- Security Officer (Monitoring), if listed on the license
