Statutory Reporting Specialist Jobs in Abu Dhabi, UAE
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review IFRS-compliant consolidated financial statements (quarterly and annual).
- Collaborate with auditors to address issues and ensure smooth, timely audits.
- Develop and implement accounting position papers, financial policies, and procedures.
- Assess and strengthen internal controls using the COSO framework.
- Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority (ADAA) requirements.
- Supervise purchase price allocation and goodwill impairment exercises.
- Prepare presentations for audit committees and senior leadership teams.
- Drive financial system enhancements to meet organizational needs.
- Manage and provide training for team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant experience, ideally in statutory audit or group reporting (Big 4 experience a plus).
- Proficiency in Oracle, Hyperion, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks, IFRS, and regulatory requirements.
