About the job

Purpose of the Job

 

The Sustainability Coordinator plays a key supporting role in the delivery of the organisation’s sustainability overall objectives. This includes engaging and communicating with various departments and sustainability leaders across the group monitoring progress and communicating outcomes.

The role also involves assisting in the preparation of monthly updates, annual reports, and internal awareness campaigns.

He/she is expected to maintain regular communication with both internal and external stakeholders related to Sustainability and HSE.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Engage with business units and support functions to gather sustainability-related data, updates, and activity highlights on a regular basis.
  • Ensure sustainability data, reports, and correspondence are accurately recorded, organised, and regularly updated within the online tracking and reporting system.
  • Coordinate volunteering initiatives in collaboration with approved NGOs and support participation from across the organisation.
  • Support the Sustainability Department in compiling and drafting content for monthly updates, management reviews, and the annual Sustainability Report.
  • Coordinate logistics for sustainability-related campaigns, events, and training sessions.
  • Assist in documenting key sustainability performance indicators, case studies, success stories, and lessons learned.
  • Provide coordination and administrative support for departmental activities, meetings, and follow-ups.

 

Qualifications & Skills

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in sustainability coordination, ESG reporting, or environmental and social initiatives.
  • Experience in coordinating with multiple departments and supporting cross-functional activities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and follow through on assigned actions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
