Key Responsibilities
- Financial Leadership & Planning – Oversee monthly financial close, budgets, rolling forecasts, dashboards, and board-level reporting. Provide updates to the Cluster CFO on AMR, quarterly forecasts, and the 5-year business plan.
- Program/Contract & Development-Project Finance – Lead costing, margin analysis, bid support, pricing, contract negotiations, and performance tracking; implement robust cost-control frameworks for development projects.
- Manufacturing Finance & SAP S/4HANA Automation – Manage product costing, variance analyses, WIP/scrap control, manufacturing KPIs; design, configure, and automate finance processes to ensure real-time visibility.
- Capital Projects & Supply-Chain Finance – Assess CAPEX proposals, monitor spend vs budget, and support supplier financing/payment terms.
- Controls, Compliance & Governance – Maintain strong internal controls, ensure audit readiness, and oversee statutory, contractual, and regulatory compliance including export controls and tax.
- Liaison with Group Finance – Serve as the main finance interface with corporate finance, treasury, tax, payroll, shared-services, and reporting teams; ensure alignment with EDGE Group standards.
- Leadership & Capability Building – Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team with defined KPIs and succession plans.
- Cash Flow & Working Capital Management – Improve inventory, receivables, and contract billing; manage cash forecasting and funding in collaboration with Group Treasury.
Required Qualifications
- Professional certification: CA / ACCA / CFA / CPA (essential); audit background is a plus.
- 12–15 years post-qualification experience, with at least 7 years in senior finance leadership roles within manufacturing; aerospace, defence, or complex systems highly valued.
- Strong experience in program accounting, bid/pricing, and contract structuring within the defence industry.
- Proven track record implementing or leveraging SAP S/4HANA for finance automation and reporting.
- Comfortable operating in matrix/group environments with cross-functional liaison at senior levels.
- ERP expertise (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and digital finance transformation experience.
- Familiarity with regional regulations, export controls, and statutory requirements; UAE experience and security clearance eligibility advantageous.

- Reporting & Forecasting Tools: SAP BPC, dashboards, KPI trackers
