About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for Executive to join Conference and Events team of luxury Jumeirah Beach Hotel. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
- To execute all hotel events with a seamless turnover, from Business Development Managers to Service Managers, and through to post event follow up, ensure that all customers are given consistent high level of service throughout each event. Responsible for the total event service process of events with capacity up to 1000 guests.
- Coordinate with the Sales Centre, Business Development Managers, relevant Hotel Departments, and the customers.
- Follow the hotel’s selling strategy for events and groups and ensure compliance with all relevant policies.
- Set up and manage room blocks for group events and ensure appropriate function space is blocked to accommodate group requirements.
- Follow all accounting policies regarding payment and billing procedures and conduct post-event billing reviews to ensure accuracy.
About You:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management or any other relevant field.
- Problem solving, leadership and team management skills.
- Detail oriented.
