About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for an Executive Chef in Jumeirah Al Naseem. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
- Oversee kitchen operations, leading a team of chefs and kitchen staff, ensuring a collaborative, efficient, and high-performance work environment.
- Build strong interdepartmental relationships through regular interaction and collaboration to support efficient and cohesive outlet operations.
- Support menu planning and recipe standardization to deliver consistent food quality that meets guest expectations and aligns with market trends.
- Supervise food quality across all outlets and banquets, recommending modern methods, improved equipment, and enhanced presentation to boost guest satisfaction.
- Ensure enforcement of safety, hygiene, and fire prevention procedures while promoting a clean and secure kitchen environment.
- Contribute creatively to initiatives that enhance the hotel’s culinary image and fulfill additional duties as requested by management.
About You:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- 10 years of international five-star hotel and restaurant experience, including managing large multi-outlet venues and progressing through various culinary roles.
- Diploma or equivalent in Catering/Hotel Management with strong IT proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Skilled in international and Asian cuisines.
- High-level competencies in senior-level negotiation, standardized recipe/menu development, and planning food promotions.
