Join our team as a Repair Technician at Al-Futtaim Industrial Equipment and contribute to maintaining and repairing marine engines with precision and expertise. This role is crucial in ensuring the uptime and reliability of our marine units, providing 24/7 support to our valued customers.

What You Will Do

As a Repair Technician, you will:

• Independently Work: Perform service, troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of mechanical and electrical components with minimal direction
• Knowledge Sharing: Guide team members to excellence and share technical knowledge to cover new products and systems
• Service Checks: Carry out service checks during operations and recommend additional jobs to ensure trouble-free performance
• Communication: Maintain effective communication with the Foreman, Service Advisor, and Service Manager to ensure work is completed as instructed
• Best Practices: Use tools and adopt best practices as mentioned in service manuals, SOW, and wiring diagrams to avoid rework

Required Skills to be Successful

• To excel in this role, you must possess:
• Proven technical expertise in independently servicing, repairing, overhauling, and troubleshooting marine diesel engines
  UAE driving license
• Effective Communication: Ability to communicate effectively in English; Arabic is an advantage
• Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with the team

What Equips You for the Role

• Qualifications: Technical education and/or apprenticeship, Technician Diploma/Marine
• Experience: At least 5-10 years of experience in marine engines
• Skills: Effective communication, teamwork, interpersonal skills, and reporting abilities
• Behavioral Competencies: Self-starter, flexible, and capable of working independently and with external parties.
