About the job
Responsibilities –
- Liaise with yard’s functional / departmental heads so as to understand their short-term and long-term manpower needs, and ensure that the requirements are properly documented and passed on to Resourcing team to take necessary action.
- Manage reviewing of the DDW-D’s Organization Structures and update-approved changes in the structure / layout and responsible for maintaining all the organization structures.
- Maintain Manpower Grades & Targets in HRIS for all the DDW-D Departments.
- Ensure that manpower requisitions and staff movements are in accordance with the approved organization charts and staff establishment.
- Ensure all the recruitment policies, procedure are adhered as per the UAE law and in line with company requirement.
- Assist in sourcing CVs for various management & trade positions and upload Job Vacancies in various Web Portals.
- Implements the day-to-day operations assigned for the department/section to ensure the compliance with the established standard and procedures.
- Prepare monthly, weekly and ad-hoc reports (i.e. Weekly & Monthly Recruitment Activity Summary.
- Compile Newspaper, Web, and miscellaneous advertisements for Resourcing team as needed.
- Prepare Job Descriptions for new skills as required and review/amend existing Job Descriptions
- Verify various recruitment related invoices and submit to accounts.
- Undertake special projects associated with recruitment or other HR functions as and when required.
- Arrange to provide the relevant documents to manpower service providers for their government formalities in home country (i.e. Demand letter, Power of Attorney, contract letters etc.)
- Assist in preparing Manpower Services Contracts, addendums for manpower suppliers, including special contracts.
Required Skills
- Possess professional knowledge in Human Resources Management and local legislative and regulative laws.
- Should be able to understand technical terms and issues, and takes a professional approach towards the business need.
- Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and successfully execute tasks in accordance with business objectives.
- Computer literate with experience in MS Office packages.
Qualifications
- University Degree or Diploma in HR
- Masters Degree in HR or any professional membership.
