Responsibilities:

 

Review Purchase Request (PR) and Scope of Work (SOW) specifications with requesters and end users to ensure accuracy and completeness with regards to acquisition and technical applications
Source and procure ICT hardware, software, and services from various vendors, ensuring competitive pricing, quality, and timely delivery
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts and terms to secure favorable pricing and terms
Collaborate with internal Business Units to understand their ICT needs and requirements, providing guidance and recommendations on procurement strategies
Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and innovative solutions
Manage the procurement process from requisition to receipt, including purchase order creation, order tracking, and invoice reconciliation
Evaluate supplier performance and conduct regular vendor assessments to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and service level agreements
Resolve any procurement-related issues or discrepancies in a timely manner, working closely with vendors, internal teams, and Business Units
Lead pre-bid Requirements and prepare and send invitations to Tender, Requests for Proposal (RFP) and Requests for Quotations (RFQ) to Vendors, E Sourcing and E Auctions along with preparing technical and commercial evaluations
Accomplish procurement and contract administration duties during vendor execution including but not limited to the follow-up on deliveries of goods and services, coordinating & resolving non-conformances (returns, shortages, delay in deliveries and quality issues), preparing expediting/penalty reports as per the company policy and vendor’s payment, and maintaining good end user relationships
Develop new vendors, obtain pricing information, and conduct market surveys for proposal development and management initiatives
Responsible for ensuring timely turnaround for procurement procedures (As per set KPI’s)
Support department by taking more responsibilities and categories to fulfill the company requirements
Maintain & update procurement records and documentation, ensuring accuracy & compliance with Transguard Group Policies
 
Skills
 

Knowledge and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
Preferably with proven experience (5+ years) as a Buyer in Facility Management Industries especially in ICT & System Integration requirements.

Skills – Hard

Strong understanding of ICT products, Software’s, services, and market trends
Proficiency in procurement software and tools, such as ERP systems and supplier management platforms

Skills – Soft

Excellent communication skills
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
