Overview Of The Role:
- The Jr. Product Trainer is responsible for managing all aspects of product-related training for Watsons, focusing on teaching employees with an enthusiastic and knowledgeable approach. The role involves developing and implementing Watsons training strategies, delivering high-standard training sessions, and enhancing product awareness and sales targets. The trainer will collaborate with various departments to ensure consistent training and support organizational promotional activities, ultimately serving as a senior brand ambassador and supporting recruitment efforts.
What You Will Do:
Training Strategy Development
- Lead the development of Watsons training strategy, collaborating with stakeholders such as the General Manager, Head of Buying, Operations Manager, and store managers.
- Ensure training programs are structured according to guidelines, with flexibility to adapt and deliver as needed.
Training Delivery
- Deliver comprehensive training sessions at the highest standards in Watsons.
- Train all Beauty Consultants on product knowledge and selling behaviors to help them consistently achieve and exceed sales and service goals.
Brand and Sales Development
- Increase awareness on the importance of thorough consultation, enabling specific home care recommendations and product upsell, supporting brand development and sales targets.
- Be familiar with all company promotional activities and support in the preparation for the same.
Relationship Management
- Build relationships with Sales, Operations function, and store managers, providing feedback and guidance on individual performance.
- Act as a role model and senior brand ambassador concerning product knowledge, brand standards, personal grooming, and sales expertise.
Program Management
- Manage and direct programs focusing on sales, service, and customer experience, including Mystery Shop to measure performance.
- Complete and submit training plans and recaps on time, adhering to corporate guidelines and budgets.
Professional Engagement
- Participate in relevant regional Training Conferences and Seminars.
- Support the Operations Manager with the recruitment of Beauty Consultants in high-profile locations (flagships).

What Qualifies You For The Role:
- Experience in the Health & Beauty retail industry.
- Previous training experience in a retail environment, ideally within a mid-large beauty setting.
- Strong attention to detail, proactive, and flexible approach capable of multitasking.
- Excellent presentation, time management, and delivery skills.
