1. Role Objective

Manage projects from commencement to completion, covering different ADDC locations in a timely and cost effective manner while ensuring delivery as per approved scope and established policies and regulations.

2. Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

Growth & Sustainability related :

· Execute all assigned tasks and to ensure that these are executed efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner

· Report on the overall performance and work progress of tasks assigned

Customer related:

· Execute all customer facing transactions in line with ADDC customer strategy resulting in higher satisfaction and timely delivery of services

· Address customer needs, problems and requests in a timely manner

· Ensure the delivery of a world-class customer experience

· Support the customer focused culture minimizing disruption to impacted customers ensuring customers are kept informed

Operational Excellence related:

· Ascertain that works and activities related to projects are carried out cost effectively and in accordance with required specifications, standards, procedures and safety rules.

· Organize the administration of all projects contracts from start to completion, by preparing all related required documentation, supervising works and handling problematic situations such as claims and disputes.

· Review technical information such as design concepts, scope of work, specifications and technical evaluations to ensure compliance with ADDC requirements.

· Raise Material and Contract Requests raised through MAXIMO, ensuring timely provision of required materials for Power projects.

· Inspect materials, upon reception, to ascertain good working order and compliance with required specifications.

· Compare project specifications with site conditions to assess the feasibility of successful execution of the project as per approved drawings, and specifications & ADDC/International standards.

· Carry out site physical comparison to ensure that area of installation is in line with installation drawings as per the agreed specifications.

· Inspect equipment for installation provided by contractor to ensure that all required materials are available on site and that they are in accordance with the agreed specification includes signing the materials inspection form for confirmation and passes to Assets Management.

· Supervise project progress through periodic site visits ensure that work is carried out in accordance with (design and planning drawings). Also spot any deviations and advises contractors for proper rectification. Take corrective actions when necessary and ascertains completion of project documentation, upon projects completion.

· Ensure a safe working environment for all employees and contractors by encouraging the identification of inherent hazards and the application of safe systems for the execution of work.

· Coordinate with O&M to undertake network shut downs as required.

· Ensure that new / relocated asset data is accurately reflected on company systems including GIS.

· Monitor performance of Consultants, Contractors and Vendors through Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and keeps accurate records for guidelines and reference purposes.

· Sign contractor’s acceptance certificate and submits to Finance Department to release payment of such phase includes carrying out Materials Reconciliation, spares, recovered material (if any) and delivers the same to ADDC stores.

· Prepare monthly reports including information such as activities undertaken and accomplished, recommendations and all other relevant Department’s information.

· Present to Division Manager for providing accurate information and decision-making purposes.

Performance Driven Organization related:

· Acquire the required skills and knowledge through appropriate training programs

In addition to the above, the incumbent shall also perform all other duties assigned by line manager.

Qualifications & Experience:-

Preferred Qualifications:

· Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred);PMP, Prince2

Preferred Experience:

· Minimum of 3 years.
