Overview Of The Role:
- As a Beauty Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and enhancing customer experience within the beauty category. Responsible for delivering top-notch customer service, your role involves extensive product knowledge, assisting with store management, and ensuring store operations run smoothly. Success in this role requires a blend of leadership, operational excellence, and deep industry knowledge in cosmetics and skincare. You will be key in executing store plans, optimizing product displays, and spearheading category-building activities to align with the store’s objectives.
What You Will Do:
General
- Assist in achieving sales targets for the beauty category.
- Deliver exemplary customer service and product knowledge in cosmetics, skincare, and supplements.
- Act as Store Manager when required and support training, supervision, VM, and admin activities.
- Support selling plans to deliver sales budgets.
- Carry out planogram and price changes while maintaining store appearance and merchandising standards.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure regular replenishment.
- Conduct makeovers for customers.
- Ensure safekeeping of all store merchandise to prevent shoplifting, damages, and pilferages.
- Monitor and update reports on product shelf life.
- Consolidate frequently asked products, recommend new SKUs, and submit them to the Program Lead.
- Consolidate customer profiles related to queries and concerns and submit to the Store Manager.
- Recommend category building activities like animations, hair and skin analysis, makeovers, etc.
- Provide information to customers on regimen building.
- Monitor and deliver 100% brand product availability.
- Ensure highlighting and cross-selling of exclusive products.
- Handle customer complaints with sincerity and professionalism.
- Follow through on customer feedback and requests.
- Align with Store Manager on submission of sales tracker.
- Ensure that all products on display are in good condition; pull out near expiry or damaged products.
- Plan and monitor Personal Development Plans and in-role development interventions.
- Ensure timely submission of Performance Reviews and employee engagement action plans.
- Adhere strictly to company policies and procedures.
Required Skills To Be Successful:
- Comprehensive knowledge of beauty industry and trends.
- Strong retail operational and management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members.
What Qualifies You For The Role:
- Degree is a plus but not essential.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in retail and team management focused on beauty products.
- Strong understanding of the beauty industry and trends.
- Retail operational skills including stock management, VM, systems, and cash handling.
- Proficiency in computer skills.
- Excellent management and leadership skills.
- Empathy and customer service oriented.
- Strong problem-solving skills and relationship building.
- Integrity and ability to handle ambiguity.
- Proactive attitude and team spirit with initiative.
