Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Be trained to safely operate and maintain mechanical and climatic test equipment
- Follow the test plan for each test, ensure the equipment is configured according to the test plan and that the correct data is captured during the test.
- Ensure that all equipment is maintained in accordance with the equipment procedures
- Ensure that all equipment is set up at each test in such a way that it is not damaged.
- Process data from tests and format in such a way that the Lead Technician and Test Specialists can produce test reports to client requirements.
Skills and Capabilities”
- Knowledge mechanical and climatic test equipment
- Able to set up, operate and maintain equipment in an environmental test facility
- An interest in working in a test environment.
- Motivated and enthusiastic, with a willingness to learn.
- Flexible approach to work – willing to work overtime, ad hoc shifts or on customer sites as and when required.
- Good numerical, logical, organisational and analytical skills
- Good understanding of IT systems such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Conscientious with good interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and a commitment to delivering the best customer experience.
