Assistant Professor in Sociology Jobs in Ajman, UAE
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Sociology courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels
- Faculty members will be responsible for course development and participating in curriculum and program development
- Supervise master’s theses and contribute to research training
- Maintain an active research agenda with regular publications in high-impact journals
- Engage in funded research projects and interdisciplinary collaborations
- Contribute to curriculum development, program review, and accreditation processes
- Provide academic advising and support departmental activities
Minimum Requirements:
- PhD in Sociology from an accredited institution
- Demonstrated research productivity in recent years
- Evidence of excellence in university-level teaching
- Excellent Arabic language proficiency (as the main language of instruction)
- Strong English proficiency (written and spoken)
