Roles and Responsibility:

be the internal knowledgeable expert for this system and be fully conversant on the Train Systems, CMMS and On-board system, its’ interfaces, design, function, implementation, and operation as is needed for this railway system operation.
engage and drive the consultants (as needed) in delivering suitable, meaningful, clear, concise, efficient, and complete documentation and specifications for defining the requirements and functionality of the Train Systems, CMMS and On-board in a useable set of documents.
take prime position in driving any tenders needed arising from the consultant’s documentation.
engage and drive the awarded contractor(s) in delivering an integrated functional system and all services Tested and without significant issues on time for system go live in Mid-2025.
interface as needed with ER Mobility, ER Infrastructure and ER Freight as needed to ensure timely progress and minimal system Interface issues.
is important to ensure, any problems, delays, or other undesirable events are brought to the attention of the line manager as soon as possible to enable a quick resolution.
Academic Qualifications:

University Degree or higher in Computer systems or IT related field.

Professional Qualifications:

5 years’ Experience with Train on Board systems for Rail.

5 years’ Experience with Train on CMMS systems for Rail.

Experience:

10 years’ Experience with implementing systems for Trains and Maintenance systems.

15 years’ Experience on railway operations/maintenance and/or railway projects.
